Travel money card
A travel money card is a prepaid or multi-currency card that lets you hold or convert foreign currency, often through an app. Some travelers use one to convert in advance and then spend yen from the balance. Terms, fees and protections vary: compare how the conversion rate is set, whether there are fees for loading, converting, withdrawing or inactivity, what happens to leftover balances, and how the product is regulated, because some are not bank accounts. A short definition for orientation. The guides and the institutions' own documents are the places for the details.
